Big 5 year old!!

For Tyler's 5th birthday he wanted a Dinosaur Party. We came up with a few good games for this dinosaur party like this "Dino Dig". The kids gathered around the sand box to dig up some dinosaur bones.















Next, the kids gathered around to get instructions for the "Dino Egg Hunt". The kids had to search the yard for dinosaur eggs and mini dinosaurs.
















Of course our party wouldn't be complete without a dinosaur march. The kids all put their dinosaur masks on, lined up and set off marching to Laurie Berkner's "We are the Dinosaurs". It was very cute to watch and they let out a good ROAR!!















Of course, our party couldn't have been complete without PB&J dinosaur sandwiches and....















CAKE!!!! Happy Birthday Tyler!

The Christmas Story (cont.)

Here is Tyler in his King costume before the play. He was very excited as were Mommy & Daddy to watch his first production. Way to go Tyler!

The Christmas Story

Tyler's preschool put on a performance tonight of the Christmas Story. The play was put on by the 4 year old class and the kids did an excellent job with all of their parts. Tyler was one of the kings and had a small speaking part in the beginning to introduce the play.

Decorating the tree!

This was Sebastian's first year to help decorate the tree and he got the hang of it very quickly. You could definitely tell that our tree was decorated by little people.















































And here is the pro at decorating. He kept insisting that we didn't have enough ornaments on the tree. He was a very big helper in decorating the house for Christmas this year.

Sebastian turns 2!

Well, as much as we tried to prevent it, he has gone and done it. Yep, Sebastian turned 2 years old last week. It is hard to believe that he is no longer a "baby", even though he will always be our special little baby. He has grown and changed so much this past year in to a healthy, happy, very energetic little guy. He is always running, jumping, playing and now starting to talk up a storm. We celebrated his birthday with a few friends and of course some cake. Sebastian's favorite little buddy these days is a monkey, so we made a monkey cake to celebrate the big day. It was a very yummy cake!

Gramma and I worked hard on this cake and I think it came out pretty darn good. It tasted good too!!
